NDIS Counselling & Capacity Building Supports
At Your Support Space, we provide counselling and capacity‑building supports that help NDIS participants improve wellbeing, build functional skills, and work towards meaningful, achievable goals.
Our approach is person-centred, strengths-based, and grounded in practical strategies that support both emotional wellbeing and everyday functioning.
Depending on a participant’s NDIS plan, supports may be funded under the following categories:

- Capacity Building – Daily Living

- Capacity Building – Improved Relationships (Individual Social Skills Development)

We support participants to build:

Support Work & In-Home Support
Alongside counselling and capacity-building supports, Your Support Space provides practical, in-home and community-based support to assist participants in their daily lives. Our support work is goal-focused, consistent, and designed to build independence over time.
Our support work for all ages may include:
- Assistance with daily routines and independent living skills
- Community access and social participation
- Support to attend appointments, activities, or programs
- Building confidence in everyday tasks
- Reinforcing strategies developed in counselling or capacity-building sessions
- Supporting emotional regulation and transitions (non-clinical)
- Play-based and developmentally appropriate support for children
- Life Stage transitions (school, work, independent living)
Specialised Support for Children
Our support workers bring over 10 years of experience working with children, including extensive experience supporting neurodivergent children (autism, ADHD, sensory needs, developmental delays).​
